That's why we mill all our cabin signs from solid wood (pine or oak), with deep engraving that won't flake. Rather than being painted on the surface, the letters are CNC-milled into the wood and laser-burned. This means your sign will stay clear and readable even after 20 years outdoors.
We personalise every cabin sign to suit your wishes. Choose from ready-made wilderness, Viking and troll designs, or design your own with your choice of text, font and size. Many choose their cabin name, family name or GPS coordinates. Others prefer a favourite quote or a funny sign for the cabin door.

Which wood is best for an outdoor cabin sign?
We recommend oil-finished pine for classic outdoor cabin signs — it stands up to Norwegian weather and develops a lovely patina over time. For premium signs milled from oak, we recommend mounting under cover.
Can I get a cabin sign with my own text and name?
Yes. All our signs can be personalised with your name, cabin name, family name or text of your choice. Use the “Design your own” product, and we'll make it just the way you want.
How long does a personalised cabin sign take?
We make and dispatch orders within 1–3 business days. For large or special orders, we'll let you know if it takes a little longer.
How big should a cabin sign be?
For a wall by the entrance, we recommend a width of 30–50 cm. For larger cabins or exterior walls, 60–80 cm works better. We can adjust the size to suit your needs.
